Exile

Exile

Classic rockers turned country rebels – Exile is reunited and stirring up some musically entertaining madness … just like they did 25 years ago.

In 1978, Exile reached their pop peak with #1 single “Kiss You All Over,” but it was their shift to country music that brought the most success.  With six Country Music Association nominations, it’s safe to say the shift was a success. The band topped the country charts with numerous #1 hits including “Woke Up in Love,” “Give Me One More Chance,” “Crazy For Your Love,” “She’s a Miracle,” “Hang On to Your Heart,” “I Could Get Used to You,” “She’s Too Good to Be True” and the list goes on.

After more than two decades apart, J.P. Pennington (guitar), Steve Goetzman (percussion), Sonny Lemaire (guitar/vocals), Marlon Hargis (keyboards) and Les Taylor (guitar/vocals) are riding the country waves, infusing their pop and southern rock sounds into their newly recharged lyrics.

The Diamonds

Tuesday, January 28, 2014 – 7:30 PM

The Diamonds

With a “National Anthem of Rock and Roll” in their pockets, The Diamonds are more than seasoned performers. They are classic rock ’n’ roll.

The original quartet rose to prominence in the 1950s and early 1960s with 16 Billboard hits including “The Stroll” and the instant, million-selling hit “Little Darlin’” which has sold approximately 20 million copies to date. The Diamonds have learned that the durability of classic rock and roll music is as much about the future as it is about the past. The newest quartet members, playing saxophone and trombone joined with piano and drums, continue to expand their audience by performing in a variety of venues and touring Europe, South America, and Asia.

Three gold records…thirty-three appearances on American Bandstand…inductions into the Doo-Wop Hall of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame…

If you miss a show – you’ll be missing rock ’n’ roll history!

In 1989 they were named “Musical Family of America” by presidential decree.  In 1993, they were the subject of a nationally televised PBS documentary and in 2005 two brothers (Jason and Zach) were featured in the film documentary Music from the Inside Out. Their first album as brothers, Classical Grass, sold out of its first printing.
